Phil in Material Sciences at Department of Natural Sciences, Humanities & Management Course Structure The M.Phil course is of 1 (one) year's duration. The first semester will comprise of course work (both theory and practical) followed by exams. During the second semester the students will work on their dissertation. Following viva voce, successful candidates will be awarded an M.Phil degree. Interested candidates may further develop their M.Phil dissertation into a PhD thesis. A student with GPA of 8.0 will be provided with a fellowship of Rs. 4000 per month. Eligibility Criteria Candidates must have M.Sc in Physics or Chemistry or Material Science with a minimum of 55% marks from any accredited university in India or abroad. |
